HW VENTILATION IS GOLD SPONSOR OF CANADIAN UNIVERSITY HOVERCRAFT PROJECT

The Valkyrie project was initiated as part of the major design project, completed at the end of the bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. The mandate of the team at the University of Sherbrooke, Canada, is to design and manufacture a racing hovercraft in order to make a podium at the Piqua HoverRally endurance competition in Ohio in June 2018, in the F2 category.

As main sponsor of this project, HW Ventilation engineers has provided the Projet Valkyrie’s team with technical support and selected two 8-blade, variable-pitch NL PAG fans with a diameter 785mm, which will constitute the core of the hovercraft propulsion system.
